I'm happy to announce that my short story, "Red Sun Over Silver City", has longlisted in the third annual 2022 Gravity Awards! Centre Field of Gravity is a quirky little site that mixes sports with speculative fiction and book and movie reviews. I quite like their style.

Twelve other writers and I will find out in April who made the shortlist, and which five go on to become finalists a few weeks after. Finalists get published on the site and receive a mighty $25 consolation prize, while the winner (announced in May) garners a cool $200. Nothing to sniff at in the world of short fiction!
Fingers crossed that I make the finals so I can finally link you to a published story (sheesh). While I sadly can't link you to it yet, you can read what Red Sun is about in the Short Fiction section of my website.
Wish me luck!
